'Mukuler Jadur Ghora' completes first stage of filming

Debashis Das' National Film Grant-winning short film for children, titled Mukuler Jadur Ghora, has completed its first stage of filming. 

The shooting took place at Jagotee, Kushtia, from February 28 to March 3. The latter stages of filming will take place in seven more locations across the country, confirmed the director.   

The short film will revolve around a 10-year-old boy Mukul, who gets lost in the marketplace after following the strange song of a bird. He gets separated from his mother and sets out on a new adventure into a magical world. 

Chondrobindu Tota, son of Joler Gaan's Rahul Ananda, is playing the titular role; and actors Ahmed Rubel, Saiful Journal, Gazi Mahtab Hassan, Sattar Fakir and others have been cast in supporting roles.
